Warm Up for Soccer Game.

Been a while since I sat again and keep my word to release this post on warm up. Sitting in a Mall in Myanmar and starting this write up. Here with the U18 for the AFF and by gods grace all has been well till now with us in the semifinal. Lets see how we fare.
Back to warm up, there is many different varieties of warm up prior to a game. First we must identify our players and have a plan for the 25 minutes. Players must know and understand what we do in the warm up and rehearsal must be done in training before the actual game. Warm ups main importance is to get the players ready mentally and physically.
Players are to do their own stretching in the changing rooms with rollers and assistance by the Physio and myself. This is to not waste time in changing rooms and be prepared for the game. It is also individually done as all players are never having the same needs.
I prefer to warm up only the starting ten (minus keepers who are with their GK coaches). The reserves I will choose a leader who will do 5-6 minutes warm up and play 5v2 or 4v2 depending on the numbers. If there is any mishaps during warm up, than I will just pull the needed players and join the main group.
A lot of positive talks are in the warm up and also to monitor the players mood before game if they are ready or not. Repeating the coach instructions and create the game atmosphere for the players.
As stated below is an example of my team warm up, have a look and feel free to discuss.
